History of the Academy
The first Konza Music Academy will be held this summer at Kansas State University. The Academy was created in 2021 by the Master Teacher Institute for the Arts to provide an affordable world-class summer music program for high school singers. Current freshmen through high school seniors are eligible to enroll. All participants will live on the campus of Kansas State University for the duration of the Academy, study with university faculty, and participate in other activities culminating with a choir concert performance on the final day. The all-inclusive enrollment fee of $389 covers all expenses including food, room/board, activities, music, and instruction. No application or audition is required, enroll today!
What to Expect
The Konza Music Academy is an affordable on-campus summer music program for high school singers. The enrollment fee of $389 covers all activities, housing, food, music training, and all expenses during your stay on the campus of Kansas State University. Students will participate in many rehearsals culminating in a concert performance at the end of the Academy. Every bit of the day will be filled with music and leisure activities along with opportunities to experience campus life.
